Head of Learning and OD (Organisation Development)
Circa £55k and potentially up to £61K for an exceptional candidate
This role will put you right at the heart of our people related decision-making. You’ll partner with senior leaders from across the organisation; providing expert guidance, support and identifying and delivering innovative people related solutions. You will lead on setting the workforce strategy and priorities and lead on all OD and Learning and Development initiatives and programmes across the council. On a day-to-day basis, this will see you managing a small team of OD Advisors and delivering a suite of tools that support Managers and the Leadership team to drive performance and set the right culture across the organisation.
Whether you are mentoring and inspiring members of your team, or building relationships with senior stakeholders, you’ll be putting your communication skills and professional expertise to excellent use. We’re looking for someone with a strong OD, L&D and transformation background gained in the public sector. You will also have a full working knowledge of the relevant employment legislation, regulations and best practice. You’ll also need experience of managing people, budgets and services).
