HR Improvement Manager
£43,857 - £48,117
In this lead role, you’ll be pivotal to the future of our HR provision. You’ll oversee policy development, pay and conditions, workforce planning, equality, diversity and inclusion, and change management – having an influence on the full lifecycle of all these projects from idea stage through to full implementation and embedding in the organisation. You’ll take responsibility for HR related data too: collecting, maintaining and reporting on insights into everything people-related and driving improvement at every level through data and analysis.
From managing a direct team, to liaising with contractors and influencing senior managers across the organisation, you’ll have a big part to play in shaping our people agenda and workforce strategy and plans. In fact, you’ll help to establish our culture and values - developing recognition and rewards policies and prioritising equality, diversity and inclusion in everything we do.
To be successful, you’ll need experience of providing technical guidance within a HR public sector setting and monitoring people-related outcomes. You’ll need to be confident identifying trends and improvements, designing services, managing change and transformation and building excellent partnerships. You should be familiar with managing staff, budgets and services too. Exceptional persuasion, negotiation and communications skills will be essential.
