Learning and Organisation Development Advisor

In this essential role, you’ll be key to supporting people right across the organisation. Working closely with our managers, you’ll provide professional coaching and advice on the full range of learning and organisation development solutions and interventions. You’ll continually look for ways we can build on our effectiveness and improve our services across the Council. With your help, we’ll be able to achieve the very best outcomes for everyone – supporting bespoke learning and development for specific teams as well as wide-reaching programmes for the organisation as a whole. This role will help drive the culture and performance of the organisation through its people, ensuring the workforce have the right skills and competence to perform their roles and have an opportunity to develop within the organisation.
Alongside excellent communication, organisational and people skills, you’ll need experience of providing advice on learning and organisation development solutions, and the ability to design, implement and evaluate interventions. You’ll understand the importance of confidentiality and have a Level 3 or 4 training qualification. You might also be CIPD part or fully qualified. The confidence to handle competing deadlines and priorities effectively will be essential together with being a self-starter and brining new fresh ideas to the organisation.
