You will need:
The Housing Demand Service delivers the statutory Housing Advice and Homelessness Prevention Service, Homeless Accommodation, Private Sector Leasing and Housing Choice and Applications. With the implementation of the new Rough Sleeping and Homelessness Strategy 2020-2025 published in September 2020 we have developed bespoke services for people with multiple complex needs including high intensive management supported accommodation which makes this it is a very exciting time to take up this role.
You will lead a team of professionals who operate within the Homeless Reduction Act 2017 as well as the Care Act 2014 and will provide strategic and operational leadership to further enhance the service. We are looking for someone who can provide the vision and direction for how we safeguard people with multiple complex needs to navigate their recovery through a complex support system.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with experience of leading and managing change, managers and teams and a proven track record in delivering to stretching targets.
