Taking a lead role here in our new team, you’ll soon discover that your ability to empathise with residents and to really listen to their needs, is as important as your technical knowledge and housing experience. You’ll oversee the collation, distribution and control of data across the team and our supply chain. From cladding inspections and MHCLG consolidated guidance to EWS1 and remediation instructions, you’ll drive continual improvement in resident safety.
Provide insight that supports the right decisions
The work we need to do is far-reaching and varied. We have more than 80 high-rise blocks and a large number of low-rise buildings in the Borough. So, the portfolio offers unique challenges and opportunities – informed by the results of our building surveys, compliance activity and general asset information, you’ll manage the collection, validation and provide assurance on all of the building information that is needed to support the development of the building safety case file and report. In short, you’ll deliver the information we need to demonstrate that our buildings are safe.
Use your skills to drive change across the industry
We’re looking for someone with considerable experience both in data management and data management systems in relation to building safety – ideally gained in a large organisation. You’ll be an expert when it comes to investigating and managing large data sets, developing data collection systems, and providing advice on new technologies and software. Aware of the benefits of BIM and how this can be applied to the work of the team and the management of existing occupied assets - and you’ll be confident working on construction projects right through from initial planning to occupation. You’ll also be familiar with researching, developing and implementing processes in data management, and have an excellent knowledge of building construction.
